The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting

I liked reading The Body Finder. It's not often you find a YA book that has the story of serial killer. I liked the story, with the two story lines. The obvious changes in her relationship with her best friend and her new fellings for him and her secret ability and using it to put away the killer of the recent murders of young teenage girls. I also liked that the way it was written that every few chapters there would be a short chapter that was the minds eye of the killer two so you get a glimpse to both sides of that story!!

In this book Violet Ambrose is doing all she can to sort out her new found feeling for her best friend Jay, who seems to make her stomache do summer saults every time she sees him now. Doing her best to keep her feelings in check with herself, a whole lot brgins to happen when the is a string of disappearances in her town that lead to her finding the dead bodies of these young girls and as each girl goes missing is gets closer to home as it begins to happen the girls she goes to school with.
Violet is set to find the killer since along with sensing the dead bodies she can snse the imprint lft on the killer that is left behand on him after each murder.
Just when everything seemd to be good there is a final twist that can be shocking to find out.

I gave this book a 4/5 start rating. i liked it and would recommend it!!

Quotes:
First line of the book: "Violet Ambrose wandered away from the safety of her father as she listened to the harmony of ounds weaving delicately around her."

"She was starting to feel like he was toxic to her."

"The sound she'd been following, the sound she'd been drawn to, the very one that had pulled her away from her own search team as she wandered closer and closer to it...it was nevr a cell phone.
I was the sound of bells.
The special sound of Brooke's bells."
